Police arrest area roofer, money repaid


Homeowners in this New England commumity alerted the Better Business Bureau and police when a local roofing contactor took deposits totaling about $20,000 to replace roofs, but never actually did the work.  The article posted in the Telegraph and Gazette goes on tp sayabout the roofing contractor:

“He was down and out with the flu or mono for a while and he was too stubborn to go to the doctor. By the time he felt better, he was a little overwhelmed … It was too much for him to handle,” Timothy Womer said. “We obviously apologize for the whole situation. We are trying to reconcile everything and we’re still trying to make a living with the business.”
